The ABRSM Jazz Piano Grade 1 is the entry examination anthology for candidates beginning the ABRSM Jazz Piano examination pathway. The pieces introduce the jazz vocabulary of swing rhythms, syncopation, and the blues scale in carefully graded short pieces that a student with 12 to 18 months of jazz piano study can realistically achieve.
